#10 on the leaderboard Hardware Self-custody

Ellipal Titan 2.0

Ellipal

A fully air-gapped hardware wallet. No USB, no Bluetooth, no NFC. Signs transactions via QR codes between the device and your phone.

The verdict

A genuinely air-gapped hardware wallet at a reasonable price. The closed source is a real trade-off; if you can live with that, the security model is excellent.

/ Pros
  • +100% air-gapped. No wireless attack surface at all.
  • +Large touchscreen, easy to use one-handed
  • +Wide chain support including Solana, XRP, and most major EVM
  • +Anti-tamper self-destruct if the case is opened
/ Cons
  • Closed source. You must trust the entire stack.
  • Bigger than a credit card. Less pocketable than Tangem.
  • QR-code workflow is slower than USB-C for power users
  • Slower firmware update cadence than Ledger/Trezor
/ Best for & not for
Best for

Maximum-paranoia users who want zero wireless attack surface.

Not for

Anyone who needs to sign dozens of transactions per day, or open-source purists.
